Life can be messy ...
hope and freedom are just steps away ...

Life is a journey. Each day is an opportunity to learn along the way.

Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes, even the strongest people need a little bit of help to work through some of life’s more challenging problems.

Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point. Whether you struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or any other issue, you should know: Every challenge is an opportunity for understanding, hope, growth, and a better tomorrow.

“Most of the time we are completely unaware of how we treat our own heart . . . The way you treat your heart is the way you’ll end up treating everyone else’s . . . Our losses matter; oh, what kindness we begin to practice when we act like our losses matter.”

About Rita Petersen

Anxiety, depression, divorce, blended families, trauma, PTSD, life transitions; sexual, physical and emotional abuse; sexual addiction, marriage enrichment, women’s issues, grief and loss; military life, career changes, sending young adults into new beginnings . . . all can seem overwhelming. Life has offered lots of those opportunities for me to learn things to help you.

For the past seven years, I’ve leaned into the role of counselor. Before that, I’ve been a military wife, divorced/single/working mom, fierce advocate for my children, volunteer chaplain, daughter, sister, and friend. I’m a farm girl who has learned to enjoy city life.

My most cherished moments have included being a mom to my children and their friends, playing classical music, canoeing the boundary waters, riding horses, enjoying Rocky Mountain living, and savoring world travels. I’ve learned to ‘push pause’ and be present in the moments with my family and friends.

My passion is helping others become aware of and seek their potential.

I help individuals and families learn how to:

— embrace conflict and see challenges as opportunities for change

— communicate well, laugh joyfully, like themselves

— learn new dance steps to life’s challenges and start to enjoy life

I’d like to partner with you on your journey to Live Blessed!
